Continuity (Art 197: BA Seminar Class Exhibition)
Date(s) - December 02, 2019 - December 05, 2019
Continuity represents the diverse and interdisciplinary art practice of students enrolled in Art 197 (BA Senior Project). The exhibition includes accomplished works in photography, painting, sculpture, digital, and mixed media, all independently developed and created during the course of the semester. As themes coalesced organically into thoughtful and honest engagement with complex issues of personal, social, political, gender, and cultural identity, each artist’s voice became clearer, stronger, and more distinct. Their talent and dedication ensures a continuity of purpose and personal expression as they complete their transition from roles as
students into engaged real world artists and citizens.
Artist include: Janese Anderson, Catalina Barrera-Limon, Danielle Brown, Jessmyn Chung, Oscar Delgadillo, Sarah Gendler, Chi Lao, Chi Nguyen, Guadalupe Quiroz, Peter To, and Kevin Tsang
