Ambiveilance: Design & Multimedia Showcase
An amalgam of the words, veil—a thin covering used to conceal—and ambivalence—a fluctuation between two opposite or conflicting things. Ambiveilance is the representation of the inner culture clash within Asian youths living in western society. This exhibition aims to showcase the conflicting identities and frustrations of conforming to or rejecting cultural stereotypes and reconciling those choices with their true selves.
