University Dance Theatre
SJSU University Dance Theater Presents: Emerging. This annual Fall concert features two new works by Artist in Residence and Guest Faculty from Israel, Shlomit Fundaminsky and Assistant Professor of Dance Chafin Seymour. Prof. Seymour’s ‘a little devil in u.s.’ is a physical meditation on contemporary culture that is at times raucous and occasionally tender, using music ranging from doo-wop to Tyler the Creator as means of translation. Funadminky’s ‘Nature’ is a detailed and fully immersive rendering of the animalistic nature of humanity and a celebration of our worlds natural beauty.
Location:
Spartan Complex building, Room 216
1 Washington Sq, San Jose, CA 95192
