Wind Ensemble Symphonic Dances from West Side Story
Fifty years ago, the film version of Leonard Bernstein’s groundbreaking musical West Side Story opened in theaters across the country. The music from West Side Story has inspired countless generations in nearly every genre of music. Come celebrate the exhilarating and exciting music from one of the most beloved American musicals of all time. The Wind Ensemble will be performing Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from “West Side Story” along with the dancers from the Spartan Spectrum Dance Team. You will also enjoy performances from the SJSU Latin Jazz Ensemble as well as the SJSU Opera Theater Program. This is a concert you won’t want to miss!
